Lovstrom is an interactive, performative light sculpture inspired by Thomas Wilfred's Clavilux of the early 20th century. A loop of rope is tied to pulleys on the ceiling and under the stage to spin a table carrying a slowly rotating drum with a very powerful light shining on it. Pulling the rope bends a moving light show from straight vertical to pointing one side or the other.
