A new take on the music box, CNC Music Factory is designed to be manufactured primarily using CNC machining. 40 uniquely dimensioned tines create a chromatic scale of over three octaves. A swappable spinning disk with a pattern of press-fit pins actuates the tines to play a particular song. Including the tines and disk, there are 52 unique machined parts. The pictured disk plays a music box version of the intro to 'In the Garage' by Weezer.
